Tonja Carter joined the Woodmont Staff in October of 1998. She is a certified Notary Public, with reappointment coming due in March of this year. She is also responsible for all of the accounting & financial duties of the church, in addition to the traditional secretarial responsibilities.

Tonja and her husband, Pete, have two boys. Joshua is a 2nd Class Petty Officer in the United States Navy and currently stationed in Norfolk, VA. Sam is a senior at Reidsville High School, who is planning to join the United States Marine Corp after graduation in May. She’s also a grandmother, loving every minute of the time she spends with Miss Evangelina, who is almost 1½ years old.

She is currently attending Rockingham Community College working towards her Associates Degree in Office Administration. She will round off her Degree with a Certificate in Accounting, and will graduate this May.
